Due to the risks presented by the coronavirus
Ealing CDC will not meet in March or April 2020. Please
watch this site for information about future meetings.
Who are we?
We are a folk dance club that meet in Ealing and do mainly traditional English folk dancing.
The dances range from lively dances that would have been danced at English village celebrations years ago, like the kind you might have done at an English Barn Dance, to the elegant ones you may have seen in Pride and Prejudice and other costume dramas.
We hold regular club evenings.
What is folk dancing?
It is a form of social dancing in which all can take part, men and women, younger and older. Come on your own or with others - you will be made welcome.
It does not matter whether you are a beginner, improver or experienced folk dancer, as all dances are called and walked through.
After learning a few basic movements you will be able to perform a variety of dances.
